Captain Allyn monitors weather 48 hours in advance. Your safety is the absolute first priority. All charters are weather-dependent, and we will work with you to reschedule if conditions are not ideal. The vessel is fully equipped with all required Coast Guard safety equipment.
Dress in layers — it can be cooler on the water than on land. Soft-soled shoes are strongly recommended (no stilettos on deck). Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and whatever food and beverages you'd like. We'll handle the rest.
Absolutely. You are welcome to bring any food and beverages you'd like. We can coordinate cooler space and provide suggestions for catering options nearby if needed.

Our vessel accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably. The 47-foot size gives your group genuine space to move around and enjoy the experience, with 3 cabins and 3 bathrooms below deck.
Long Island Sound is generally calm, making it ideal for guests new to sailing. Over-the-counter seasickness remedies are always recommended if you're concerned. Captain Allyn will adjust the sailing plan to keep conditions as comfortable as possible.
